Joy, Hope and Harmony Project.

We’re now halfway through our Joy, Hope and Harmony Project, and what a beautiful journey it’s becoming. This community‑powered project—partly funded by We Are Tamworth, a Tamworth Borough Council initiative delivered in partnership with Spacehive—was created to bring people together through creativity, wellbeing, and the joy of gospel music.

Over the past weeks, our sessions have been full of life:

Tie & Dye Workshops, where colour, creativity, and laughter have flowed freely. Last week we added a new dye layer to the scarves we began earlier, and they’re becoming stunning pieces of art.

Nature Nurturing & Wellbeing Sessions, where we’ve learned simple, grounding practices—like making our own soothing hand balm to care for ourselves and one another.

Gospel Singing Masterclasses, where voices are growing stronger, braver, and more connected. Our choir is growing too — new singers are joining us each week, adding fresh energy and harmony to the sound we’re building together.

Every area has been wonderfully attended, and the sense of community is growing with each gathering. And we’re building toward something truly special…

On 29th March 2026, we’ll be celebrating with a Gospel Concert featuring the Tamworth Community Gospel Choir, alongside an exhibition showcasing the beautiful creations from our wellbeing and tie‑and‑dye sessions.

There is still time to be part of this journey. Still time to find your voice, your colour, your calm. Still time to join the joy.

If you’d like to take part, simply reach out through our contact page—we’d love to welcome you in.
